Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy governs all orders placed with Detailing Stockroom (a division of Soluvap Inc.). By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Orders placed after business hours will be processed the next business day.

  • Processing times may be extended during peak periods, promotions, or unforeseen circumstances.


2. Shipping Methods

We offer multiple shipping options depending on order size and destination:

Parcel Shipments (Small Orders)

  • Shipped via carriers such as UPS, Purolator, Canpar, or equivalent.

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout or added to invoice where applicable.

Freight / Pallet Shipments (Large Orders)

  • Orders requiring palletization are shipped via LTL freight carriers.

  • Shipping is not calculated at checkout and will be:

    • Added to your invoice, or

    • Quoted separately after order confirmation.


3. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • For certain B2B or wholesale accounts, custom shipping terms may apply.

  • Any accessorial charges (liftgate, residential delivery, appointment delivery, etc.) will be billed to the customer.


4. International Shipping (USA & Other Regions)

  • Orders shipped outside Canada may be subject to:

    • Duties

    • Taxes

    • Tariffs

    • Customs clearance fees

These charges are not included unless explicitly stated and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Incoterms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Shipments are made under EXW (Ex Works) terms from our warehouse.

  • The customer acts as Importer of Record (IOR) and is responsible for:

    • Customs clearance

    • Duties and taxes

    • Brokerage fees

In certain cases, we may offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipments, which will be clearly specified on the invoice.


5. Dangerous Goods / Limited Quantity (LQ)

Some products may be classified as Dangerous Goods in Limited Quantity (LQ).

  • Shipments are prepared in compliance with applicable transportation regulations.

  • Certain carriers or shipping methods may be restricted.

  • Additional handling or shipping fees may apply.


6. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.

Detailing Stockroom is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Carriers

  • Customs clearance

  • Weather conditions

  • Force majeure events


7. Order Tracking

  • Tracking information will be provided once the order has shipped.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor shipment progress.


8. Risk of Loss

  • Ownership and risk transfer to the customer upon:

    • Shipment from our warehouse (EXW), or

    • Handover to the carrier

We are not responsible for:

  • Lost shipments

  • Delays

  • Damaged goods in transit (see Section 9)


9. Damaged or Missing Goods

Customers must inspect all shipments upon delivery.

  • Any damage or shortage must be:

    • Noted on the delivery receipt

    • Reported within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to do so may result in denial of claims.

We reserve the right to:

  • Request photos and documentation

  • File claims with the carrier on your behalf (at our discretion)


10. Incorrect Shipping Information

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.

  • Additional fees due to:

    • Address errors

    • Re-delivery

    • Carrier corrections

will be charged to the customer.


11. Refused Shipments

If a shipment is refused:

  • The customer is responsible for:

    • Original shipping costs

    • Return shipping

    • Any applicable restocking fees


12. Local Pickup (If Applicable)

  • Orders marked for pickup will be prepared within standard processing times.

  • Customers will be notified when orders are ready.

  • Valid identification may be required at pickup.


13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in shipping due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Labor disputes

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Government regulations
